Camp LuLu is located about halfway between Chokoloskee and Goodland in the Ten Thousand Islands.
Note the exposed location along the edge of the Gulf in this satellite view.
It is inside the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and subject to camping restrictions.

Camp LuLu is a great place to camp and is popular with paddlers and powerboaters alike. Since it is outside Everglades National Park, no permit is needed, but you still need to respect the private property on the island such as the green cabin. It’s an excellent place to relax and kick back in a hammock or go fishing, shelling and just walking along the beautiful sugar sand beaches.
The island is inside the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and subject to certain camping restrictions!
Like many Gulf campsites beware the Raccoons as they sometimes work in teams! Also if you arrive at low tide, you’ll have several hundred feet of mudflats to explore or fish from. You may consider to bring some pool noodles to use as logs to roll your kayak onto the beach with, lest you get stuck in those mudflats! 😉
