“Hot Lips that kissed Miami Ships!”
.
.
Cruising along the Miami River Canal one day I came upon these sexy Manati tugboats.
.
.
The word manatí comes to us from the Taíno language of native Arawak peoples of the Caribbean. It means “breast”. Fittingly in English we use it to describe the Manatee, also sometimes called a sea cow. See the connection?
.
.
I really do hope that these lips never kissed an actual Manatee!

.
“You can put lipstick on a tug, but it’s still a tug..”
.
.
“.. a Manati Tug!”
.
.
.
There are actually three of them.
